We look forward to supporting DPD MRFs across the UK in protecting their compliance and improving their onboarding process.
When we roll out to your region, your dedicated Regional Account Manager will be in touch to share much more information and answer all of your questions. However, in the meantime, please see the below FAQs.
The Wise system is completely free for MRFs to use, regardless of how many drivers they currently engage.
Wise is a technology company that specialises in self-employment within the logistics and parcel-delivery industry. Their free technology helps logistics business owners onboard, manage and pay self-employed drivers whilst saving them time, money and stress.
On top of this, through the driver app, these subcontractors can then get access to handy products such as invoicing and accountancy support, helping them to maximise their earnings.
DPD is partnering with Wise to bring its technology to the whole UK MRF network in order to get a complete audit of its partners, allowing every single one of its MRFs to protect themselves from a compliance perspective.
It is vitally important that MRFs protect themselves from a compliance perspective and this free technology will support them in this matter whilst also helping DPD UK in a number of strategic areas.
DPD will be rolling out Wise’s technology on a region-by-region basis across the next few months. For now, there is nothing to do – Wise, as well as your Depot Manager and Regional Relationship Manager, will be in touch with you directly when it is your depot’s turn to onboard with the Wise platform.
When it’s your region’s turn, both DPD and Wise will be in touch with you with tonnes more information and you’ll also be able to ask any questions you have around this new technology.
Yes. Onboarding onto the Wise platform is mandatory for all MRFs across DPD’s UK network. When Wise rolls out to your region, you will have two weeks to complete the simple onboarding process.
Following this, you’ll have access to Wise’s integrated onboarding and compliance platform, helping you to save time, money and stress on everything from onboarding drivers through to managing payments.
DPD is always looking for ways in which it can support its MRF network. This partnership will help all UK MRFs to protect their compliance whilst also giving them access to our innovative onboarding system, saving them time, money and stress.
When Wise is rolling out to your region, you’ll be asked to complete a short onboarding process for your business. This will take ten minutes and make sure that both Wise and DPD has all the essential information about your business, so that it can be protected from a compliance perspective.
Through Wise, your drivers will be able to get access to a range of handy optional products such as expert invoicing and accountancy support, as well as access to an amazing range of high street discounts.
Wise’s technology will strengthen your relationship with self-employed drivers from a compliance perspective, making sure your business is protected around Employment Status and has solid contracts in place.
On top of this, by joining Wise you’ll be able to create a more compelling offering for incoming self-employed drivers, onboarding them more quickly whilst also offering access to handy products and shopping discounts.
All DPD MRFs across the UK are required to complete the onboarding process with Wise.
Wise will be rolling out across the UK, one region at a time. When it is time for your region, you’ll be contacted with the specific dates for your depot’s onboarding process as well as much more information and support on what’s needed to complete this.
